I’ve had many trips traveling with my kids, in both a car and an airplane. Traveling with kids can be a very stressful time for parents. Traveling in the car for hours is never fun for little ones. So, parents are tasked with putting together a bag of activities and goodies in hopes that it will make the trip less boring.

But first things first. We need to pack a special bag just for their things. When kids know this  is their special bag, they may even carry the bag themselves… maybe. The Skip Hop Zoo Packs are absolutely adorable and come in several different styles.

I always like to pack them a couple of new things. Or toys I know they have not played with in awhile. But all of these things have to fit into a bag, so the options are sometimes limited.

I think the mudpuppy Color-In Crowns is fun, and it comes with 4 crowns so they can color each one differently.

The P’kolino Artist Travel Set can also come in handy. Since this comes in a nice case, it makes it easy to find the crayons and markers, and helps to keep everything in one place so the art supplies don’t go missing.

If you have a little one, I also like the Skip Hop Alphabet Zoo Activity Book and love the Mamas & Papas Plush Toys.

Another must have is the Diono Easy View Mirror. This is easy to use and actually has a nice clear-view mirror.

While I want to keep my child entertained, I also want to make sure my car survives the trip. I love the Prince Lionheart Back Seat Savers. These will protect  the back and bottom on the seats and they will wipe clean.

I hope you find some of these things helpful for any upcoming trip you and your family may have. I wish everyone safe travels.
