Summer Movies Series at Skyline Park
Weekly Movie Nights at Skyline Park sponsored by Southwest Airlines are a perfect family friendly summer activity. Movies start at dusk so grab your seats at 16th and Arapahoe Streets and enjoy a fun outdoor movie.
Children’s Museum Free Tuesdays
Tuesday evening at the Children’s Museum are free and offer the opportunity to have some fun with your little one at one of Denver’s kid friendly-est destinations.
Denver Area Splash Parks
Ralston Central Park in Arvada, Wynkoop Plaza at Union Station Downtown, and The Great Plains Park Spray Park in Aurora are just a few of the awesome Denver area splash pads that will turn a hot day into a water filled fun time. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
Cherry Creek Arts Festival
Take some time to stroll around the Cherry Creek Arts Festival and enjoy visual, culinary, performing arts. Check out the family friendly “artivities.” Admission is free for this fun filled weekend.
Dragon Boat Festival
The Dragon Boat Festival at Denver’s Sloan Lake features an Asian Marketplace, performance stages, dragon boat races, and a fun kid’s area called Dragonland. This year the Dragon Boat Festival takes place July 30-31, 2016.
City Park Jazz
Take the family to enjoy some live music and dancing with family friendly jazz, blues, and salsa concerts at Denver’s City Park on Sunday’s in June and July from 6-8pm.
Hammond’s Candy Factory
Tour Hammond’s Candy and see behind the scenes at the Denver Candy maker. Tours take place during the day Monday through Saturday.
